For this project, we were tasked with creating an album cover, poster, and t-shirt design for an already existing album. I chose ‘The Dream Chapter: Star’ by Tomorrow x Together. The song I chose specifically from this album is nostalgic and mystical, and I wanted to incorporate that into my design. I focused on creating my characters, style, and story. The song itself is very soft,t and I wanted to present this in my designs.
For the t-shirt design, the primary illustration is a character with a paper bag on his head and his antlers poking out. The meaning behind this is self-consciousness and how the character has very little of it. His antlers are uneven, and one of them is cut off, making him different, making him unique.
The album cover showcases the character sleeping in his room, the paper bag resting on the drawer. I wanted to create a warm and inviting environment for his room, it's a safe place and an escape for him. Here, he can be who he is, not hiding beneath the paper bag.
The poster is an outside view of the window shown on the album cover. It looks out to five star characters, sitting around a cozy fire. They represent the fallen stars from the night sky. They are there to help the antler boy, giving him friendship and comfort.

I focused on the atmosphere of what I wanted to portray; the colors were very earthy, and the texture was a little rough. The typography still needed work as well

Completely changed the color but kept the same design. I wanted to focus on the individual elements but make them more cohesive. The typography was also simplified. This made it easier to read and understand
